Mission Tejas State Historical Park
Perdernales Falls State Park is located North West of Austin Texas. It is known for it's Falls on the Perdernales
River. The river can go to floow stage in less than 10 minutes. You can hike down to the falls and walk
over them. Wear good gripping hiking boots as some surfaces are extremely slick. Walking the falls can be a
workout as there is some climbing/jumping involved to get around the entire site
There are also some great hiking/biking trails. To hike up around the "mountain" will take about 8 hours.
You can use mountain bikes on that trail if you're in shape, have a quality mountain bike. It will take about 4 hours
to bike it.
The campsites are great and a lot are secluded. This is one of our favorit parks during Thanksgiving.
